Derby Karate Club teaches Wado Ryu style to men, women & children of all abilities from 4 years of age. Lessons are taken by instructor Trevor Seddon, a 4th Dan black belt and a qualified coach. We have over 200 members from all over Derby and some members travel from the surrounding areas to train with us.
Wado Ryu is a traditional style of Karate and not all about Fighting. So it is suitable for most people.
DKC has been going for over 10 years .
It was started in February 1997 and has tried to provide a family karate club for all comers.
We have around 200 members in and around Derby . Most of our new members come from reccomendations from our existing students.
