John Bishop 1997 - 2009
August 2009 John is going to live in Crete .Some little Island in foreign parts which I am told is slightly warmer than Derby.
We presented John with his 2nd dan certificate last Sunday 23rd August and he said he would be training on Thursday 26th before he went on the Friday.
I got a silk belt embroidered in a week and we looked forward to presenting him with it on Thursday.
Several dan grades came along to shake his hand and wish him well.
Unfortunatley he did not arrive I have at present no address for him so we can only hope he contacts us so we can send his belt.
We all wish John and his wife a pleasant stay in Crete.
He has always been a keen student and a perfect gentleman

UPDATE 15th September
Just had a call from John we will make arrangements to get his belt to him shortly.
He is sorry he missed the Thursday night but they just ran out of time.

The belt has now been sent to Crete.
